lol i bet you all thought by the title this was going to be one of my bad beat stories.

No not this time help required in the tilt department.

Almost every single time i decide to start my daily poker session, i start my opening games tilty and loose rather quickly untill i have played a few and settle in.

Can anyone help me with any thought on how i should deal with this?

I know i could perhaps start the day with free rolls or play chips, however these structures make me tilt all together so am probably best avoiding that strategy.

So starting day tips! how should i mentally prepare for my opening game?

What i do when i sit down to play at a cash ring game is not to play any hands until i have a feel for the table, unless of course i get dealt a premium hand.

At a new table i never play untill Im the BB,

For the first few circuits at a new table i play very tight,

By watching the action and not getting involved to early prevents me from titling, and as someone said in another forum the other day, sit on your hands, so you cant rush your action.

2 thoughts

1. Start your day with a 2 cent hyper turbo or a 10 cent 360 man game

or

2. Start your day with Play money.
