Hi during a game recently whilst recieving freakish bad swings for about a week, missing 14+ outs every game.. My JJ getting beat by the likes of A6 off . pfffff

Anyway long story short, 1 guy who was on chat said my account is "flagged"

1. What does it mean when my account is "flagged". ?

2. How can i "unflag" myself..

3. Why do people need to get "flagged" anyway. ?? I thought every1 had the same chance . ?

Please some1 set me straight coz i'm hearing whispers every day about irregularities on online poker...

Cheers

He most likely believes that online poker is "rigged" and that Pokerstars decided to slap you with the mystical "doom switch." Neither of these are true and you're just experiencing a nasty downswing.

The whispers you're hearing about Pokerstars are coming from conspiracy theorists that can't accept that the site is solid and it's their own play that gets them in bad spots.

Pokerstars CAN flag accounts that have been reported for suspicion of chip dumping/collusion, but some random player would have no way of knowing that about anyone else. PStars doesn't give that info out to people.

Hope things turn around for you.

Thanks for the info although i'm quite open minded about this.. I've played for 6 years on here but never seen bad luck like it since i joined.. every game ends up on a badbeat or a 2 outer.. I always get my money in good.. I've often wondered if the better the player you are the harder p/stars make it for you.. downswings i understand to a point. but getting 2 outed, 3 outed losing every single flip for about a month really gets to you..

In fact it gets so bad sometimes you wonder why u bother .

just that last game there i had a guy crushed he had to hit a 2 on the river to have any chance, i swear m8 i nearly shit myself coz it was like i predicted it, hell i said to my m8 "watch the 2 come" and it did !!

I have got a very open mind about this whole online poker malarky now and ive been here for years....

Hi 1BIRD1,

A couple of things to consider here:

1. The guy in chat would not have any info like that and most likely was trying to tilt you.

2. PokerStars does not make any additional profit from a players downswing, it is the other players at the table that profit.

PokerStars takes the security and trustworthiness of it's games very seriously. Here is a link to some more info.

If this were true, Shaun Deeb must be a terrible player to be allowed to run so hot during the SCOOP.

Except he's been winning for years, on PS, other sites, and in live high stakes mtt's. The only flagging on his account is by every other mtt reg that says "This guy is pretty good".

I know what you mean about predicting what card is going to come. It's cos don't believe the RNG in random at all but gives the cards to whoever playing the hand the best (according to pokerschool strategies), even if they had bad cards to begin with

Umm. NO.

PokerStars RNG works just like a deck of cards in a casino. The deck is shuffled, set, and dealt. The order of the shuffled cards DOES NOT change after the shuffle.

And this is the oddest of the RNG conspiracies I've ever heard. It's usually "it's rigged for the play that's playing the hand the WORST way."

But either way, no. The RNG doesn't have some magical algorithm built in to detect who is playing the hand according to PSO strategies. If so, why would 90% of the posts here be bad beats(that usually aren't?)

So all those beats we see posted in this forum where the villains hit 1,2 and/or 3 outers on the River they were "playing the hand best"?

I'm sure I speak for many here when I ask you to be so kind as to point us to the Poker School strategy sections that say playing 1,2 and 3 outers for stacks is "playing the hand best".

Hopefully this concludes this months episode of Rigtard Theater (but somehow I doubt it...).

**CLOSED**

Hiya

As this was from the support section and has been answered we going to close it as from the looks of it nothing positive is going to come from leaving it open.

Have a great Day

Thanks for being part of PSO, and Best of Luck at the Tables
