Hi grade b!

With 14 left, I'm looking to get a top 3 stack however I can. With 6BB left in front of me and a pocket pair, I'm open shoving with 99 everytime here. I need to accumulate chips to get to the top 3 and then to win and with less than 10BB, I'm looking to shove any pair, any A, etc.

Due to this, I'm shoving wth 99 everytime in this situation.

Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.

I have to say JWK with this being a prem league game the points for final table (i think) are better.

so i was making 2.2 my stanard raise with well anything down to around 5 bb rather than the shove. Should i just be shoving in these spots with 10bb down 15bb down?

Hi grade b!

I wouldn't necessarily say that I'd shove at 10BB or 15BB, as this is a league game and there are extra points for lasting longer. However, since I'm already in positive points and with a bonus for getting to the FT and even more for top 3, I want to be taking calculated risks try to get there.

In this instance, a std raise makes me pot committed, so I would rather shove first and put the pressure on the opps. I'd much rather muck the 99 immediately than to make a 2.2 raise and then have to fold if an opp shoves, and if I'd be ready to call a shove, then I want to be the first to shove, not the one that has to call a shove since it takes a much better hand to call a shove.
