So i've been playing online for a couple of years now. i'm just having a bit of trouble making my live play anything like pokerstars.
Through careful study of hands dealt and how they play out, i think i have the pokerstars game pretty well understood.
My problem is - whenever i got to the casino to play live, my killer hands hardly ever win. I 4 bet with 28off, 5 bet K6, fold pairs and facecards. bet the crap out of garbage, and i still lose. I don't get it. This is winning strategy for pokerstars play. Thousands do it everyday. Are the casinos cheating to make those powerhands lose??
Isn't that against the law?

Hi Kerkel1,

welcome to the forum

1. You need to play at RAMA in Ontario
watched some guy play aggressive every street hit his 7 on the river to win with 2 pairs 7's and 2's and take down a $300 pot (this was $1/2NL)

2. added you to my friend list

Hi kerkel1!

Welcome to the forum. 28o is an instant muck. K6o is an instant muck. I want to play hands that are ahead and in position..... these are not made hands.
At micro stakes, a player can't bluff people off due to being smalller stakes. However, I've seen these maniacs in every tournament form a freerolll online to a $350 buy-in live in a WSOPC. They're out there everywhere.

Good luck at the tables.

Way to make your first post on the forums a heavily sarcastic attempt to troll... As you can see it failed though. JWK24 was immune to it lol. I do hope you take things more seriously in the future.

Live games are easier than online games, generally speaking. Study and work to improve your skills online and you will do better at both. I say work on it online primarily because it is cheaper. Risk less money for same reward (gained experience).

Getting PokerStars is easy: download and install the PokerStars game software, create your free player account, and validate your email address. Clicking on the download poker button will lead to the installation of compatible poker software on your PC of 51.7 MB, which will enable you to register and play poker on the PokerStars platform. To uninstall PokerStars use the Windows uninstaller: click Start > Control Panel and then select Add or Remove programs > Select PokerStars and click Uninstall or Remove.
