Hi all,

Not sure if this is right forum or not but...
Been watching some of the Big game a 48 hour cash game from London, only saw some of the later eposides and the play was trerrible due to the players having been up for 40 hours mostly.

soooo got me thinking I know for ring games on line i get fuzzy after an hour.

2 questions

1. what is your normal cash game session lenght and

2. what is your longest?

just curious

Typical live cash sessions run 5-6 hours with a short break somewhere. I have played over 12 hours once when I was hot and the table was soft.

Hi grade b!

For cashgames, the longest that I've played was about 4 hrs, haven't played many cash tables.

But.. since I play many more tournies than cash tables, the longest one that I was in was a WSOP circuit. I left home at about 6:30am, got to the casino just before 9am (when registration started) and the tourney started at noon. Good thing I got there at about 8:45, because it took until 11 to get thru the line.... anyone that got there between 9-10am ended up being seated late or were alternates. I played until just after 12:30 the next morning when I got ko'd right before the bubble.
If I could have made it another 20 min, then I'd have had to go back the next day since it was a 2-day tourney.. but would have been happy to do so on about 7 hrs sleep since I'd have been ITM.

If you are playing a long session. Get a good night's sleep beforehand. It will help a ton!

thanks guys, I used to play the "big" 2.20 and would (sometimes) run deep till 3 in the morning then be playing with 1 eye on clock as i had to get up for work soon.

So i knocked that on the head. Maybe i can pation stars to move the start time 2.5 hours earlier just for me!!!

I played 6 hours in my first (and only) Live game and only left as we had dinner reservation.
