Hey Dr0420,welcome aboard.

Unfortunately at this time all we US peeps can play here at Stars is play money. Nothing that can ever lead to any re-numeration is available to us,including any kind of Freerolls. That includes the League games.

As for the rest of the school we can take full advantage of the learning tools here...Live Training with Dave (TheLangolier),which is well worth your time, the video library and the teaching and discussion parts of the Forum (Hand Analysis sections for example...)

Hi Dro420!

Welcome to the forum. Here's a link that will help to get you familiar with all that PSO has to offer.

Unfortunately, for us in the US (I'm one of them too), we cannot participate in any of the games that have tickets or cash as prizes. All that we can play are the play money games... however, that does not exclude us from taking advantage of the other options (live trainings, HA forums, promotions for play money games, etc.).

Good luck at the tables.

Thanks for the info guys. I will definately use whats available to me. I enjoy tutorial vids. Guess it was just wishful thinking for league play or ANY kind of competitve play for U.S. players here. Has anyone ever suggested a play money league/or tourneys for U.S. poker school members only? Prizes could be T-shirts, Caps, or anything thats not money ? LOL Sorry guys I'm just bored to death with play money cuz I stay capped at 20 million . I'm not even allowed to exercise my giving spirit and transfer play chips to the micro players so they can advance in stakes lol Thanks again for the info and best fo luck to all of you .

hi and welcome... I think it brings up a good point jwk .... to access the complete lesson list you need vpps ...maybe pstars could offer an exchange for play chips???? this would give incentive ...also Cowboys weekend games could offer passes to the higher level lessons as prizes just a thought

Hi r0ck!

The vpp restrictions are waived for US players, since we can't obtain them.... so all of those are already available to the US members.

Hey Dro , welcome aboard
You said you can't transfer play chips to other players ?
Is this some new rule I haven't heard of ?
When I first started playing online my play chips were over 10 million and when I put poker down for awhile I had given away over 7 million to my friends and such.

You also raise another question that I've been curious about.
Anyone know if or when US will be allowed to play for real monies again ?
Is it simply over taxes ?
I read a couple articles about it awhile back , but I haven't heard anything new about it since.

Hi Dean and thanks for the welcome!

Yes it's true that I'm unable to transfer play chips to anyone. I just dont have that option available to me due to the .net software I was forced to use after real money wasn't allowed . I used the .com software before. I also cant search for players /friends or even rail real money games except for final table replays under the Events tab. No observer chat either lol which is really lame. I also would like to know if anyone has any updated news about a possible return for real money for US players or could link me to a recent article about it? For now I just have to settle for what it is.
