I'm new to online Poker, I have played alot of live poker, 2 times a week for abt 3 years now. I have played in some poker shool tounaments as well as some others. I find that I get my money in good alot and receive alot of bad beats, like more so than i win especoally when its an all in. Can someone please tell me if this is common? or do i just have bad luck lol.... Also Whats with so many people sitting out in tournaments? Perhaps I should try it, I may have better results...... just kidding, I figure if I register I am gonna play, Poker is fun.

Hi P.E.I.Potato!

Welcome to the forum. Here's a link that will help to get you familiar with all that PSO has to offer.

The thing that you have to remember with bad beats, is that even 27 will beat AA about 12% of the time. There are a number of coin flip situations and we're going to lose 1/2 of them.

Sitouts... if I register for a tourney, I'm playing, minus an emergency (or the net dropping).

Good luck at the tables.

bad beats just add to the thrill of when the best hand wins about 80% of the time. Thats what makes it so much fun. You experience the same variance at the casino tables its just well hidden in a slow hand count and the social aspect. Good on ya tho give it a go, online is very safe the poker community wont have it any other way. ANYhow i will see you at the tables (even hunt you down) and try to receive some of your bad beats in a cash donation xo
Best of luck counting the cards etc and MAY 3's Be With YOU new Master xo
