Hi,

This could get complicated as I had 88 in the sb for a steal and got 3b calling oop. Then checking to the aggressor who c-bet as expected. Now raising is the only way I can get away from this cheaply?

Hi Forrest,

I think you line is fine. Although you cannot really represent many strong hands here it is usually enough to protect your equity in the pot against overcards and getting bluffed on later streets in a spot like this. Most villains at these levels will probably fold overs or A high here often.

Yes I'm not going any further with this. Probably at higher stakes I get called and just give up unless a turn 8.
