Hi I'mJigJig!

With KK from mid position and a raise in front of me, I'm going to 3-bet to 5250. I want to raise here to try and isolate the initial raiser so that I can play the rest of the hand in position and if the initial raiser comes over the top, I'm ready to call a shove from them.

Unfortunately, by not raising, I now see the flop 4-handed and the flop is a very wet board with a possible made broadway straight, or a straight draw, and a spade flush draw... and all of these are well within the opp's ranges. The initial raiser checks to me (probably a small pair or a trap) and I'm going to make a value bet here that will price out as many of the draws as possible. With 3 opps in the hand, I'm going to make a pot-sized bet (8115) here.
This should hopefully thin the field and maybe get me position for the rest of the hand. If someone calls my flop bet and the turn does not help me, then I can check behind so that I get to see the river card and then re-evaluate on the river.
The river gives me a broadway straight, but the turn completed the spade flush draw. If the opps are passive, then I'll make a value bet of 1/3-1/2 pot and hope that none of the opps hit the flush.

Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.
