People can go and see this promo (a very interesting promo)

It's on the Russian PSO site (I think), but you'll need to translate it

It's called a Community Race
The only thing I would change, is to give it a maximum buy-in, let's say no more than a $20 buy-in

That is quite a good promotion all right. To be straight up about it though there are currently no plans to run a promotion similar to that here at PokerSchoolOnline, not for the moment anyway, maybe at a later date.

Going forward we would like to run promotions that members have contributed to. In other words we want to hear your thoughts and opinions on what type of promotions should be run here. We cannot guarantee that each suggestion will become a promotion, but we can guarantee that everything will be considered. If the suggestion is realistic, brings value to the school, and will create enough interest amongst our members, then there is a good chance it will happen.

Each of the PokerStars PokerSchool's host their own promotions through-out the year. Occasionally you might find one that is run at several schools at the same time. The recent 'Series of Poker' is a good example, hosted at most schools it celebrates the biggest annual poker event there is.

Other's will be only run at one school. The 'Flame' promotion is a good example of this, suggested by one of our members it was put into place and was unique to PokerSchoolOnline.

Going forward we have received suggestions to us by mail at ideas@mypokerschoolonline.com to host some live training related promotions and we are currently working on these. Please keep submitting any ideas & suggestions and we do welcome them.

I think it's important to spread the rewards to all players and not just the best players. Things like winning with a Royal Flush or losing with quads should have a token payment of a tee shirt or cap from the VIP store. If you have a league then a wooden spoon prize for the one who plays every game and comes last. Things like this put a bit of fun into the game and while the best players will generally win in the long run, even the worst have a chance of a prize.

Getting PokerStars is easy: download and install the PokerStars game software, create your free player account, and validate your email address. Clicking on the download poker button will lead to the installation of compatible poker software on your PC of 51.7 MB, which will enable you to register and play poker on the PokerStars platform. To uninstall PokerStars use the Windows uninstaller: click Start > Control Panel and then select Add or Remove programs > Select PokerStars and click Uninstall or Remove.
