Hi guys,

The subject already tells what i would like to know, how do you put people's shoving ranges?
I mean,if a player is tight ,does it mean he has a shoving range of 27,6%? In he range,he shoves with any broadway, pair and Ax?
and what if the player is loose, how many % of his handrange do i have to put it in pokerstove ?

Thanks !

Hi hbhuang!

For me, it's totally dependant on how a particular opp is playing. There isn't a set number that I will use for all opponents. I'll take into account table dynamics too (chip stacks, position, etc).

Yup, poker stove cant really give you a particular opps. shove range by % that would be totally hand and opp specific. You would have to manually input specific hands one by one with "your best guess" for it to be anywhere close. Not practical in game. As for shove pre senerios (as in (relative) short stack play) that again would be villain dependant and the % chart (preflop) would only be a starting point, and would most def have to be "embellished/adjusted" with your input (again not practical in game)
