Confession....I've been a naughty boy and bunked of School since February....well I'm back, a little beaten and wounded - but back at School, and studying hard again now.

Instead of just concentrating on one thing (SNG), I have been trying MTT's-which I really would like to do (WELL!!). But, I'm no good yet. I don't like Ring, but I also like SNG's...so, back on the case. SNG's it is!

I like this Challenge - I did it way back in January, and got to 90 games before busting out. Along the way, I had all sorts of great advice, and even a Backer to get me going.....so before this gets underway, I would like to name just a few who helped me...

Many thanks to Ed, Moxie, Cairn + Cowboy...and all you PSO Team..

Please feel free to post any comments/ advice etc...

So I am starting with a B.R. of $6.25, doing the 0.25c 45 Seat SNG - and my aim is to complete the 100 games, and if I end up with over $6.25 I will be very happy. Of course, I will try and double my B.R. too..

Well I am not doing that well at the moment.

Far too many very early exits - inexcusable really.
I just think it shows a lack of ability, skill, and a little desperation.

However, my bankroll has levelled off now, no more down, down, down - so excellent news! I have played a few 9 seat SNG too.

I am sure alot of us have had this spiralling-down BR problem, but I was chasing it by going against all the advice and what i have learnt, by upping stakes to get back on track.

It doesn't work. Especially if you are not that good a player to start with.

So here are my first 20 results..not that many cashes, but at least something to build on, and my game is improving a little. Back doing the training now, which really helps your focus.

I spoke with Dave after one of the lessons on analysing software, he said that if you play for cash, you really do need something like Holdem Manager or Poker Tracker. So just looking into that for a Mac.

I have had an awful time, tilting, maybe trying to get the 100 games in, but did a few All-ins to our Eastern European friends, who do it all the time and it winds me up somewhat.
So, I have not done that well, but the last two today have given me a boost.

Still 60 games to go.........eeesh, I hope I get the 100 games in...

Well I got out of bed on the right side this morning... Marvin had accomplished his mission, and so I won $5.

with this $5.00 I am going to do the Big 3.30 Satellite games, probably the 0.33C and 0.44c non-rebuy Turbo ones, which have 1000 Starting chips. I will post on here how they go........and if I win any, I will enter the Tourney, 1. because I want to, and 2. the Satellites end when the tourney is running. I will get between 11-15 goes at this. WML.

And then I won 2 of my CC games SWEET

I am ending this now, as I have a new challenge.

How many Fruit Salads and Blackjacks do I get for 44c?????

It's been great fun doing it, I will do it again.
