So here goes my journey.
I've never deposited any amount and I have gone through both the Poker Basics and Cash Game course.
Have to wait for a few more hours until I can do my Cash Game quiz.
Am I eligible now or is there something more that i have to do?

Cheers

Hi Anacoluthon,

You are eligible for the Bankroll Builder promo!

The next thing that you will need to do is to attend one of the 'Getting Started With Pokerstars' live training sessions. You'll find these sessions daily in the Live Training section. Please let me know after you have attended this session.

Also, you can be practising on the play money NL ring tables and please post a hand that you were not sure about using the hand replayer. Here is a link to the instructions for the replayer.

Hi, For the past days I've been trying to attend the Getting Started live trainings but because I live in Asia, due to timezone differences it is very hard for me to attend.

I took your other advice and have been playing on the play money no limit tables and freeroll tournaments as well but I find that you rarely find a table filled with serious players when playing with play money.
They usually just go all-in with any pocket pair or aces and they seem to check/call/raise randomly regardless of their hand strength or stack size and have total disregard for bet sizing.
So far I have not encountered a "serious" hand which I wasn't sure about.
I will keep on playing in hopes of getting a well beat hand and post it here.

Hi,

Keep at it on the play money games, develop a feel for no limit holdem.

The Sunday schedule live training for Getting Started will suit your time zone. Please make use of this >>click here<< as a helpful reminder for your poker education schedule.

Good luck at the tables!

I have attending the Getting Started live training as well as the Little Big Satellite MTT live session as well.

Here's a hand that I found I could have played better but didn't know how.
Probably should have folded when he re-raised on the turn but I put him on a weak hand.

Suggestions?

Hi,

:A:2 is an ok hand in late position in unopened pots>>> cut off to button and blind vs blind, but since I'm in early position UTG(under the gun) I will be folding this hand pre-flop, there is a possibility of a stronger Ax hand dealt ahead of us (ex. AK AQ AJ AT A9 A8 A7 A6 A5 A4 A3).

I would like to see you open for a 3x raise if you are going to enter a pot.

Post flop I will be checking the flop, turn and river as this board connects well with a lot of villains limping range(ex suited connectors, K6+, A8 A7 A6 A5 A4 A3, Q8+) and there are not to many worse range of hands that I can expect to get value from on the turn and river.

When you bet the turn and river, what range of hands where you trying to get value from?

Good luck at the tables!

Hi,

You will receive your first Bank Roll Builder buy in within the next 24 hours!

Play at the 9 seated (9-max) No Limit Holdem 1/2c real money tables with your first Bank Roll Builder buy in. Also be sure to post hands in this thread with the replayer that you did not feel to sure about and I'd gladly assist you!

Good luck! Win some big pots!

Hi, I'm sorry I only posted after such a long break.
I played in the real money tables and I don't think i can retrieve the hand history nor can i recall in full
From what i remember i was heads up and went all in with trips and the opponent manage to draw a full house on the river with pocket hands

If i'm right i have to complete the cash game quiz to get my next buy in?
I've tried more than 4 times but for the life of me i can't pass that quiz
