Hi hina123456,

You are eligible for the Bank Roll Builder promo!

The next thing that you will need to do is to attend one of the 'Getting Started With Pokerstars' live training sessions. Please let me know after you have attended this session.

Also, you can be practicing on the play money NL ring tables and please post a hand that you were not sure about using the hand replayer. Here's a short video on how to use the Hand Replayer

Hi hina123456,

Thanks for posting the hand for review and I'll ask one of the Hand Analysers to take a look at this for you and offer some feedback.

We really want to help you with your game and want you to attend the 'Getting Started at PokerStars' Live Training sessions. It's important you go to these specific sessions so that we can advance you further in the promotion and help you get that bankroll building.

Let me know once you managed to attend and we can move on from there.

Hi hina,

With the 88 the preflop and flop play are good, but not really liking the turn bet. I realize you wanted to look like a bluff but it really doesn't, it's 3x the size of the pot and it actually looks strong, in your opponents shoes I expect to see AQ, KK, or AA an awful lot here, trying to "protect your hand". The goal to get max value is good of course (ideally to get a full stack in), but with the current size of the pot and 2 streets of action you don't need to blow everyone out with this big a bet. If you go 200 (less than pot) and get called, there'll be 630 in the middle and you'll have 400 left, which sets up a very nice river shove size to get value from Q's. In general any time you are trying to set up stacks and can do it by the river with normal sized bets, that's the best route to go.

Hi hina123456,

Thanks, and I can confirm that you did indeed attend the 'Getting Started' session with 'HoRRoR77' today. Don't worry about the other two sessions for now. They come later and you'll have to attend them again when instrucyed to do so. Only do what's asked of you for now, no need to rush

Now we want to get you playing on the real money tables. Next up, and spend some time on this one , study the Poker Basic Course and take the basic assessment quiz at the end of that course.

Once you have passed this quiz your first buy-in will be credited into your account within 24 hours of passing it. Remember you can earn up to a total of $8 with this promotion.

Use this first buy-in to then play the 1/2 cent real money tables only on PokerStars. Post back here when you get your first $2 and start playing these games and we'll continue on from there.

Excellent!

Now that you have passed the quiz your first buy-in will be credited into your account within 24 hours. Remember you can earn up to a total of $8 with this promotion.

Use this first buy-in to then only play the 1/2 cent real money tables only on PokerStars. Do not play higher buy-ins than this until instructed to do so. Don't worry if you lose this first buy-in as we will credit you with another should this happen.

Use all that you have learned so far to try some real money games (1/2 cent tables). Post any hands that you have difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyse them for you.

Also, attend the 'Bet Sizing' live training session. This session can be found daily in the Live Training section.

When you've done all this we will move you onto the next stage. Well done on the progress so far!
