Hi BalacMV,
You are eligible for the Bank Roll Builder promo!

The next thing that you will need to do is to attend one of the 'Getting Started With Pokerstars' live training sessions. Please let me know after you have attended this session.

Also, you can be practicing on the play money NL ring tables and please post a hand that you were not sure about using the hand replayer. Here's a short video on how to use the Hand Replayer

Hi BalacMV,

Thanks for posting, I'll ask one of the Hand Analysers to take a look at these hands for you.

Once he does this we can continue on from there tomorrow.

Hi BalacMV!

With 33 and two limpers ahead of me, I'm going to limp behind and try to setmine here, especailly if the opps are liable to stay with any cards. If I raise and get multiple callers, I'm going to be a large underdog and do not want to bloat the pot with a very marginal hand.
When I get a call, shove and call of the shove after me, 33 is not a strong enough hand to call, so I'll muck.

With 88, the first thing that I see is that I try to wait until I'm the BB. I don't want to pay an extra blind to get into the game earlier... this will be a negative to my ROI. With two limpers, I want to make a standard raise, which is to 3BB+1BB for each limper, so I will raise to 10.

The flop brings and ace and a pair and all of the opps check to me. I now have to make a decision. I can check for pot control and see the turn, or I can try to represent the ace and make a value bet. With 3 opps in the pot, I'll make a value bet of 3/4 pot here (38). I don't want to bet less, as anyone that has small cards and has a straight draw will get the correct odds to draw at me. Also, if someone calls my bet and I don't improve on the turn, I will then check behind and see the river for free.

On the turn, since there is only one opp left, if I'm going to bet, I have to bet at least 1/2 pot, or I will give the opp the correct odds to draw, if they have a straight draw. I'd rather check and see the river, as the overwhelming majority of the time that my flop bet gets called, it will be by Ax, which leaves me only 2 outs.

Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.

Hi BalacMV,

Your first buy-in will be credited into your account within 24 hours.

Use this first buy-in to then play ONLY the 1/2 cent full ring real money tables only on PokerStars. Playing any other game format will disqualify you from being able to obtain further buy-ins through this promotion.

Post back here when you get your first buy-in and start playing these games, along with a hand that you had problems, or that cost you money, while playing with this buy-in.

Also, please attend an 'Cash Basics' live training session. This should help too.

Good luck!
