For the last several days I have been playing on this site and one other, and when I watch tables or just scroll through the games available, I have no problem with network connection.

However, for the last few days, whenever I sit down to a Tournament or Ring Table I get disconnected. Not always immediately, but certainly within a minute or two.

Quite often this occurs whilst I am in a hand and have made a bet, then when I get reconnected, the hand is over and I have lost through running out of time. The only exception is if I am all in before disconnection, but then I have to wait to be reconnected to find out if I won or not.

This is becoming very, very frustrating, especially as I am unable to see the hand progress and the actions of the other players.

I feel as if I am just throwing money away.

Once or twice I have been almost to the money in the Hot55c, despite the disconnections.

I know that the problem is not with my computer,as my internet connection through my HomeHub is at 100%.

Is anyone else having this issue ?

Hey Bill,

I had a similar problem a couple of months back and ended up switching to cash games for a while (ended up loving them and grind them now).

My internet connection was fine as well. I actually found that my problem wasn't with the connection at all, it was with my computer.

If I had the internet open with lots of tabs, as well as a HUD, and pokerstars multi-tabling, my computer would be going quite slowly, and this translated in stars as having connection problems.

Might not be the same case with you, I would suggest emailing support at stars.

hahah lol bill the dreaded ps disconnects, you will find when you complain they magically stop.

I had loads of dc,s a while bk and strange enough with premium hands etc like aces.

And me too been an i.t person know my internet was fine with 100 percent connect.

TRy not let it tilt you bill as i think that this is the idea of the dcs to make you tilt, servers or game mofds thinking they are clever.

And to be honest i dont care about what pso say about this, as it is impossible to get disconect from table while other tables still running fine and internet still on,

and ps client still not disconnected without any foul play in my opinion.

Hi Bill, contact support and they will look at things on your end and theirs. They sorted a disconnect problem for me around a year ago, they tweaked some settings in the client and the disconnects stopped.
