Hi,

say you have QQ on the button. Somebody calls in front of you. If I understand correctly I'm supposed to raise to 4-5 BB now which is the standard raise of 3-4 BB plus 1 BB for the limper? Is this correct?

Thx

the standard open raise is somewhere from to 3x depending on game type and player preference. Add one big blind for each limper. Some players do vary this. If they do vary it depending on their hand strength, you can take advantage of this information to plan your play of the hand.

Good luck
