Hi Sim2000207,

You are eligible for the Bank Roll Builder promo!

The next thing that you will need to do is to attend one of the 'Getting Started' Live Training sessions. These sessions can be found daily in the Live Training section.

These classes are schedulded at different times on different days of the week so you will need to find which day suits your time zone best.

Please let me know after you have attended this session.

Also, please practice on the play money, no-limit, tables (full ring)

Hi Sim2000207,

Perfect, we can see you on the list of attendees, did you find the session useful?

Next next play some 9-handed full-ring play money tables. Make sure the tables have no empty seats.

Find a hand that caused you difficulty or cost you chips and using the hand replayer post it here in the Forum.

Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer.

Once you've posted your hand we will analyse it for you and then continue on from there.

Hi,

Please find below hand I was not sure about. I actually won this hand but have a feeling I did not play it well. I got lucky on the flop, but not sure about my betting strategy or if I should have thrown this away earlier ?

Hi Sim2000207!

The first thing I'd recommend is that you wait until the BB to start playing. Paying extra BB's will be a large drain to your bankroll.

With 99, I'm going to make a standard open-raise, which for me is to 3BB+1BB for each limper. Since I entered the table early, that counts for me as a limp, so I will raise to 40. By keeping my raises and bets standard, the opps are constantly guessing as to whether I have a hand or not.

I get 3 calls, then a min-raise. I'm going to call the raise here and re-evaluate after the flop.

I flop bottom set, but the board is not a great one for me, as there are a number of straight draws and even a made straight could be out there. The opp that raised me now makes an abnormally small min lead bet. I'm going to raise here for value, but to also try to lessen the number of opponents and I will size my raise at the size of the pot (770)... however, I don't have that many chips, so I'm going to shove the flop.

Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.
