Definetly not a call, just happens on that occasion you would have flopped trips but poker can't be played with that mentality. Decisions should not be based on results, but rather long term profitability.

Besides you would have lost the hand to the J9 anyway.

Hi,

Totally agree with herbal on this one, calling OOP in a multi-way pot with A8o here is a leak.

Also agree on not being results oriented. It's ok to ask the question based on being uncertain about a hand's value in a spot, but not because you would have flopped a miracle. You probably won't ask if you should call had you folded 72o here and the flop was 222.
