I'm assuming that this is from a league game. If so, in a league game, I need to only be playing premium hands, not marginal ones from out of position. The reason for this is that the chips that I could gain for winning a hand will never be worth more than the league points that I could lose (and cash in the monthly standings) for an early exit. Tourney chips are always worth less than real cash.

The key to these games is to last as long as possible without ever taking chances and to do that, I only want to play premium hands, especailly out of position and to muck anything marginal at all. I'm never going to be calling a preflop raise with a marginal hand.

Another key when playing is to not be results oriented. Whether I win or lose the hand is basically irrelevant. What IS important is to make the best decision for the situation that I'm in at that point in time.... after I do that, it's out of my hands.
