Hi,
I'm interested in getting into the programme, if I'm eligeable. Thanks!

I've been lurking around the fourms and practicing with play money. Most of the information on the site is really straight-forward and easy to understand, so I haven't had any questiones so far.

But, from the other treads I understand that hand histories are important, and I need to know how the function works. So, while waiting to see if I can get into programme, here's a hand I played recently and am a bit iffy about:

Near the end, I held and open-ended straight. I decided to fold after another player raised because I figured that the odds of getting the card I needed on the river were 16% and it didn't justify the "cost" in chips. Of course I was a bit peeved when the card I needed came along. So, uhm, is there any way I could have handled it better? Maybe my mistake was further back...

Thanks!

Hi Qckddrs,

Unfortunately your account is not eligible for this promotion.

However you can still avail of the learning material here at the school and take the courses and quizzes here. You can also post hands for review in the Poker Education section.

Bummer. Thanks for letting me know, though. Is it possible to know why? Well, specifically, can I do something to remedy the situation?

The information here is fantastic, and I'll definitely be around. Thanks for your help and time!

Yeah, sorry to hear that your account is not eligible.

Moderators here at the school have no access to your personal account information, we are simply told which accounts are eligible or not.

To get an answer to your question you would have to email support at support@pokerschoolonline.com and one of the PokerStars team would be able to assist you further.

Keep attending the live trainings here though and you can always post hands for review in the Hand Analysis sections, all of this is free to you.
