Hi faceinmymind,

You are eligible for the Bank Roll Builder promo!

The next thing that you will need to do is to attend one of the 'Getting Started With Pokerstars' live training sessions. Please let me know after you have attended this session.

Also, you can be practicing on the play money NL ring tables and please post a hand that you were not sure about, using the hand replayer. Here's a short video on how to use the Hand Replayer

Any advice on this hand?
I was pretty sure I had quite strong hand... Was he just very lucky with four of a kind or should I be more careful in such situations in the future?

Hi faceinmymind!

With KK, or any other hand that I want to play, I want to make a standard raise, which is to 3BB+1BB for each limper. This helps to conceal the strength of my hand and to not be a tell for the opp as to what I have. Since there is 1 limper, I will bet 4BB or 40 chips.
There is then a min-raise and 3 callers. With a premium hand like KK, I'm going to re-raise here. Normally I would size the bet at 3X the previous bet, but with three callers of this bet, I'll opt for a pot-sized raise and would raise to 830... HOWEVER, this bet would pot-commit me, as I would have over 1/3 of my stack into the pot. Therefore, I'm shoving my stack in right now with my KK.
Another reason for this is that I do not want to let any of the opps see an A or a pair on the board that can beat me without making them pay for it.

Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.

Hi faceinmymind!

Please, DO NOT do things before you are instructed to. This will not help you to get thru the process sooner, it will make it take much longer, as you will then have to repeat the necessary items!

Now we want to get you playing on the real money tables. Next up, and spend some time on this one , study the Poker Basic Course and take the basic assessment quiz at the end of that course.

Also, please attend the Bet Sizing live training session.

Once you have passed this quiz and attended the live training session, please let us know and your first buy-in will be credited into your account within 24 hours of passing it. Remember you can earn up to a total of $8 with this promotion.

Use this first buy-in to then play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables only on PokerStars. Post back here when you get your first buy-in and start playing these games and we'll continue on from there.

Hi faceinmymind!

Nice try, but you did not attend the training session AFTER you were instructed to do so. Please attend it, as it is a mandatory item for moving to the next step.

This is a good example of why I said to you yesterday not to try to do something out of order, as you can end up having to repeat them.

Please let me know when you have attended the training session.
