Hi guys, I've been meaning to post this for some time, please don't take this as criticism of the PSO as the only thing I want to do is improve the site.

I find it hard to navigate the site and finding what info I'm after. I've posted hand histories in wrong threads etc, not on purpose but because I couldn't find the correct form to post in. Take this page for example:

http://www.pokerschoolonline.com/community

say I want to post a hand for analysis when I'm stuck at this page. I don't have the correct forum to choose from and the hand history goes into the wrong forum.

Now navigating again, what If I want to go to members blogs from a forum topic. I have to click on home and then click on blogs. Now the site can be slow at times and it can take an age to get to what you want.

I'm suggesting you or your webmasters redesign the site with drop down menus. If I want to go to latest posts from any page then it should be achievable in a single click. Make every page available from every other page so we can get around the site quicker.

It just seems overly complicated for me as it is and could be designed with a bit more thought.

TYIA.

Hi Ovalman,

The easiest way to see an overview of all the Forums at PokerSchoolOnline is to go to the 'Forums & Blogs' section and select 'All Forums'

This will bring you to the page where all the Forums are displayed.

A dropdown was discussed in the design stage but it was decided not to have one. The Moderator Team even put forward the suggestion back in August 2012.

It's still a 2 click process and 2 pages I have to navigate through to get where I want.

Now as I type, say I want to leave what I'm typing and go to the hand replayer, I can't find it on the page I'm on. As I mentioned and noted before, the site can slow down to a crawl at times, it can be very frustrating finding what you want and having to go through 2 pages is unnecessary.

A search function would also help.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and under Community you will see 'Poker Tools'

or scroll to the top of the page and type 'Hand Replayer' into the search bar and select 'Poker Tools' from there.

Open up two tabs, that's the easiest way.

You're coming up with a work around but not the solution to the problem, I'm saying make navigation a lot easier on the site by using drop down menu's. As I mentioned I've posted things in wrong forums before because I couldn't instantly find what I was after.

I'm pretty comfortable around the site as I've been here for quite a while but what about someone that has just joined?

To add, I didn't even know about the odds calculator so how is someone who hasn't been here before meant to know about it?

I tend to agree with Oval on this one. After my break I came back, the site was redone, and I had a hell of a time finding stuff. I found it all, with some help, but I too find it annoying that if I wanna see the forums I have to click on Forums & Blogs, and then click on all forums. Especially with the long load times (so it is not me after all)

A small suggestion might help: split forums and blogs in the top menu bar, and when one clicks on forums, automatically show all forums, not the few it shows now....

We'd encourage all members just to click as many links as they can and explore the site.

For all new members we welcome them and give them >>This Link<< to help them find their way around initially but of course they will have to do some of the exploring themselves.

Better yet, revert to the previous website (see http://www.intellipoker.de if you've forgotten how good we had it then and to reminisce about the lost usability and functionality).

This site is several GIANT steps backward compared to what we used to have.

PSO Staff - when are you rolling out this "new and improved" site to all the other PSO schools so that they too can benefit from the changes that "will vastly enhance the experiences and enjoyment of members" of those schools?

Please let us know. I look forward to the uproar from the non-english schools and will google translate their responses to this change and commiserate right along with them.

Hi annie_22at90,

Thank you for your post. It is unlikely however that PokerSchoolOnline will revert to the old format at this time.

Hi RR,

Thank you for your reply. When will the "improved" site be rolled out to the other non-english schools?

Hi annie_22at90,

I don't know to be honest. If you email support@pokerschoolonline.com they should be able to assist you with this query.

Do other countries have the same "new improved" desgin?

Ifeel like im missing out...there is probablya lot of good stuff on here but it is hidden and/or means I have to click eveything every day just to find stuff

If the intention of the new design was for less traffic and fo rme to stop using the forum then mission accomplished

Not having a go at royalraise here so dont take it personaly m8 but i doubt the mods/trainers are to blame

Iam tryng to learn poker whch is time consuming so I hvent got tiem to relearn this new site

I am so glad others find it dificult too to naviagte as I thought it may have just been me

please please please at least consider going back to the old site .once again Iwill state the obvious to me..I do not see any improvements

wrote this whi e im ill so sorry if it seems harsh but I still stand by it

Thank you for the drop down menus but I'd like to see a specific Forum drop down so you can get to the forum you want quicker. A "latest post" in the drop downs would also be handy
