Hey all!

I've got a question for you. How many of you, if any, are having the 'last posts' tab show up with no posts, when there have been posts in the forum since the last time you logged on?

Yes exactly that if I have left the browser tab open.

I'm guessing a cookie has saved the time of the last search. So pressing 'last posts' again later will find any new posts.

Unfortunately the next day/login it is set to zero so the browser thinks you have seen all last posts and finds zero new posts.

Just a thought.

Hi John,

Yes, this happens to me also. I find if I return to "all forums" and select "last posts" I will get more posts than when I just "refresh." Still there should be more new posts than are displayed. There shouldn't be any difference in the number of new posts retrieved according as to how you check for the posts, either. Weird, is what I think.
Good luck with this.

Hey John,

This is a really irritating issue. Quite often I only read the forum while not logged in and then from time to time when I come back to my home PC and log in I end up with four posts as my last posts even though I have not been logged in for a week. The only way I can get around it is to have a second tab of PSO opened on firefox not logged in and then find it with my logged in version if I want to respond.

Today though when I found this thread while not logged in and logged into PSO on another firefox TAB to answer it I found I was logged in on both TABs but I still had threads from last Thursday displaying via the last posts button. Now I am just wondering if they have fixed the issue or not because as far as I recall I have not logged in for a week since my last post.

Just while I am here I noticed that posts in the bankroll builder promotion do not appear if you use the Last Posts TAB. Now personally there were so many of them that they were getting a bit annoying but on the other hand they rob new members of forum inclusivity and it is hard to see how these new people can be retained as forum members if they are virtually restricted to the bankroll builder forum. However, if it is a policy PSO are hellbent on following maybe they could do it for the TimeVault promotion as well

Cheers,

TC

It comes up with 'no posts' a often when I check it for the first time around noon or earlier, weekdays (EST). Figured they were just slow morning on here

Eeeeyup happens a lot tbh it also shows that I've read posts that I haven't (no bold text on title)
