I'm a bit late in setting goals for the new year, but here goes- I currently play $30 Hyper HUSNGs, and have been grinding hard since the new year. Here's my graph since Jan 1st-

As you can see I am on a nice upswing- I attribute this to playing less regs and declining good players and focusing more when playing instead of autopiloting.

I also have 9.1k VPPs to date, mainly from playing a bit of CAP for the first few days of the year.

So my goals for 2013,

-200k VPPs
-300k VPPs
-3-4 table like a pro (atm I find anymore than 2 tables, my game decreases in quality)
-Move Up to $60 with 150 BI roll
-Move Up to $100 with 150 BI roll
-Continue studying (actively watch a video a day, discuss hand histories and strategies with Skype friends)
-Run Good

My shorter term goals for the rest of January is just to continue grinding, I want to play at least 1.2k games/week while I still have uni holidays. You can follow my progress on SharkScope.

Thanks for reading, I will try to update results and post interesting hands here regularly.

Today's session:

I really don't know what happened to my EV line...I didn't check my graph during the session, and I thought I was winning more coinflips than usual..the graph confirmed it!

Towards the last 40 or so games I rematched some tougher opponents for practice,I think I played pretty poorly against them, not making adjustments...

By the way, the Spacegravy Heads Up video is really awesome, I hope he makes more!

Hey guys, just thought I'd pop in to update my results for this year, I stopped playing for a bit but started again in May, here are my results since then:

ROI is not the greatest, I hit a nasty breakeven stretch in July.

Also have hit Supernova! Going to go for 200k vpps this year.

I have started blogging here- http://tradinghalt.blogspot.ca/

Hi,

I'd also like to welcome you to the forum! Very nice to have a huhyper specialist here! Good luck and good decisions during your quest to 200k VPPs and 100's. I have a few friends that play that have played at the 30's also, maybe you've played them Nikiforos86 and Axif.

Keep us updated with your progress! Hope to one day see you playing Skai, Cog and Lotte. (even though that may not be optimal opponent selection)

Hey cannonlee, yes I have played with both, Axif is actually in my staking group!

I forgot to mention I moved up to 60s this month as well, here are my results for them so far

Not the biggest sample but most of those games have been against tough 60s regs (most of them play 100s+ as well!) wanting to test me so I am pretty happy.

The waitlist at 60s are pretty insane, sometimes reaching 30 players during peak hours. I don't think I'm at the stage of sitting weaker regs at the 60s just yet (considering I am one , so I try to grind during offpeak hours.

I realise the WCOOP has also kicked off, I'm a pretty big MTT fish so probably going to stay out, the $215 HU event looks very appealing but it starts 4am Australian time which is brutal... I'll just have to make do with buying shares in a few players, makes me feel like I'm playing myself

I'm probably not going to update this thread very much- follow my blog! http://tradinghalt.blogspot.com.au/

Also I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post here, if not mods please remove, my friend Derek "KGBKing" a fellow hypers grinder and I have started a staking/coaching stable for lowstakes HU Hyper players, for more info just shoot us an email- winningflips@gmail.com

Thanks for reading!
