Please accept this as my entry into the Time Vault

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

That about sums up the last three years of my poker play.

I’ve decided to commit myself (no pun intended) to a 12 month program which will allow me to continue to play recreationally and actually enjoy playing.

My Goals are going to be somewhat different from most of the posts I’ve read, simply because I’ll never be able to get to the next level if I don’t achieve these first.
Baby steps…

Goals & Objectives
A- Tilt management
B- Bankroll management
C- Disciplined Table Image
D- Increase my MTT ITM % from X to 15%

No more than 1 re-load in 2013
Only play micro stakes until I have control of goals A-B-C
Spend 4hrs per week at PSO for instruction.
Solicit feedback and participate in others blogs.
Attend weekly live trainings.
I will not deviate (no mater how tempting) from the Bankroll Management guideline structure outlined on PSO.
Track and monitor progress.
Eradicate FPS (Fancy Play Syndrome) from my game.( Leave this to the big boys on TV)
Move from Loose-Passive fish to Non Loose-Passive fish.
Focus –Adjust - Re-adjust during all stages of MTT.
Enjoy the game for what it is.

GL to all in 2013 and thank you in advance for any support or comments you provide.

Hi there,

Your goals sound good, the key is bankroll management, ive been going with the same deposit since the beginning of 2012 using strict bankroll management guidelines and it works, you need to risk what you can afford and NO more haha. Make sure you keep watching the videos and live trainings here at pso, and if you get into any tricky hands then feel free to post them in any of our hand review forums and one of the trainers will give you some feedback

This is a great site to improve and expand your knowledge, hope you are successful with all your goals in 2013.

Thanks - Sun Jan 13, 2013, 10:05 PM

Thanks Grade b and you as well with yours.

ATM I'm not playing any real money tables as I still need to work on a few more leaks so I don't donk off the entire rebuy.
On a personal level I would have to say I'm playing about the best online poker I have ever played. It may not seem like much to anyone else, but I've won or been in the money since I've been focusing on my goals and that wasn't happening before.

Hey Stitches ... something I just remembered is that there's some freerolls over at Full Tilt - I don't play there, so I'm not up on all the stuff that's available, but for sure there's one that's open to Canadians that's on every night at 8:35pm EST that's free and open to everybody.

And I played it once, and the quality of play was good. It's non-turbo, so it was a long one, but everybody was chatty and friendly and stuff - lots of other learners (like me to tourneys), so that was fun.

Just thought I'd mention that in case you hadn't noticed that one and were hoping to get more experience without having to deposit? Are you playing the Open League too?

Great job with the being disciplined - that's something I wish I had more of! GL/BC GL/BC with the challenge!!!
