The rules above outline the reasons posts or their content may be deleted by the moderation team. I see no rule concerning posting links to competing site beside the generic legal, immoral or indecent posts.

So why was a link to poker related content removed on huffingtonpost.com removed? Surely that is not competition.

Why were links to poker news sites, most of which PS advertises on, edited out?

I can understand links to competing poker sites and competing poker educational sites being excluded, but beyond that I see no reasonable justification for disallowing them.

Would someone please list the specific criteria that qualifies a "competing site" as such?

Hiya Joe,

As for the Specific reason links get removed that be a case by case basis.

At all times we review each link and them make a decision if it is in the best interest of PSO/PS and/or the thread in question and go from there.

If you have anymore questions on this please feel free to PM me.

Thanks for being part of PSO, and Best of Luck at the Tables
