When I try to subscribe to the Professor's blog, mousing over the subscribe button says "This feature is disabled".

Is there another way to do this?

Hi Annie,

Try it in a different web browser and if that doesn't work take a screenshot and send it to support@pokerschoolonline.com.

It might take a few days but we'll get it working for you

First try a different browser though, I just subscribed to him using Firefox.

Annie, go into "Edit Profile", then "Edit info", scroll down to the bottom of the page and change "Receive emails" to yes.

I had the same problem as you and this cured my problem.

Top marks Ovalman, didn't know that myself and really appreciate the info.

I'm not entirely sure it will solve her problem but it solved it for me.

I use Firefox as the default, but also tried Chrome and IE with no luck.

My "Receive emails" was already set to yes. I tried toggling it to no and then back to yes, but no joy.

I've sent an email to support with the deets and a screenshot.

Thanks for the suggestions Raiser and Ovalman.

kk ..

Annie has sent an email and I've contacted support also and if anyone else has this problem please post here.

Feel free to email support also but they do know about it and I will update this thread here when I have more info ...

This might take a few days so please be patient.

Cheers,

Raiser

Same problem as well.
When the Langolier also put his last blog up I never got the E-mail, despite being subscribed well before this glitch and, like annie, having but email setting set to yes.

I'll also email support. Hopefully, one more on the subject might help speed things along.

Now it says

"email notifications are not enabled for your account"

So where do we enable it?

Hi Sand,

Go to 'Edit Profile' > 'About Me' and hit the edit button.

Scroll down and make sure your email settings are set to 'Yes'

Some members already have this done and still cannot get it to work. I checked just now and it's still been worked on so I'll drop a post in here when it's fixed so you guys can test it to see if it works for you

Coles notes version:

- PSO support asked me too email PS support "with a request to be added to the mailing list again".

- PS support "disabled option 'no mail list' " on my account.

- tried to subscribe yesterday and getting same message as Trap noted

- emailed PSO support with above message and they responded "Your case will be reviewed and you will be contacted with information as soon as possible. Please keep in mind that our technical support is limited and response times may be significantly longer than usual."

- tried to subscribe today and it worked.

Hopefully it's resolved for everyone else as well.

nope, I'm still having the problem.

when I emailed PSO support, they said it was due to me recently putting a self exclusion on my account. When I stated in no uncertain terms that other people where having the exact same problem, they still insisted that my problem was due to my stars account being banned, closed or with a self exclusion.

So it appears they're giving out contradictory answers, and inacurate ones too.

Hi havocofsmeg,

Unfortunately the mod team can't really help you with that one as we don't have any access to members personal account information.

It's something you will need to continue contacting support@pokerschoolonline.com about, sorry.

Hey raiser,

It is PSO support that I emailed, and didn't prove helpful.

I'm just going to give up before I start swearing at them. After my last email from them, I feel banging my head against a wall would be more effective

Same as you Havoc

Their last response to me is on how to use the forum, like I don't know how.

After you have selected the topic, on the top of the screen, the following options will appear:

- >Go to ->New topic ->Options ->Search ->Mail box ->Forum tools ->Forum control

Select "New topic" and then you will have the "Post New Thread" window open. You can edit a post by clicking the edit button for the relevant post. Please note you can only edit your own posts.

In order to post on an existent thread, players also need to be logged in. Then chose the topic. They will be presented with three options:

- Quote: at the bottom every post the player has the chance to reply to it including the original comment.
- Reply: at the bottom every post the player has the chance to reply but no quote will be included.
- Quick response at the end of the forum thread: Just double click and start writing

Something is definitely wrong at support
They really can't read

Now I get this response

To create your own blog please log into your PokerSchool account. Once you have logged in click on the "Blog" option from the menu located on the right-hand side of your screen. From here click on "Create Blog" and you can then commence writing, previewing and editing your blog.

There are a few points to keep in mind when creating a blog:

It's no use

Please Raiser, send them my problem, probably they'll listen to you
