Hi features86,

You are eligible for the Bank Roll Builder promo!

The next thing that you will need to do is to attend one of the 'Getting Started With Pokerstars' live training sessions. Please let me know after you have attended this session.

Also, you can be practicing on the play money NL full ring tables and please post a hand that you were not sure about, using the hand replayer. Here's a short video on how to use the Hand Replayer

Hi features86!

You need to play the play money full ring tables and post a hand using the replayer that you had problems with. Each of the steps in this process need to be followed specifically or it can disqualify you from earning further bonuses.

Hi features86!

With AJo, I'm going to make a standard raise, which is to 3BB+1BB for each limper, so I will raise to 8.

I flop top pair and there is an abnormally small min bet and a min raise in front of me. I'm going to raise here and since there are three opps in the hand, I will make a pot-sized raise to 50.

The turn completes a gutshot straight and also puts many straight draws out there. When it checks to me, I'm going to bet 2/3 pot (55 chips).

The river puts 4 to a straight on the boar and when it checks to me, since I do have showdown value, but could be beat, I'm going to check and go to showdown.

Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.

Hi features86!

Now we want to get you playing on the real money tables. Next up, and spend some time on this one , study the Poker Basic Course and take the basic assessment quiz at the end of that course.

Once you have passed this quiz, please let us know and your first buy-in will be credited into your account within 24 hours of passing it and notifying us. Remember you can earn up to a total of $8 with this promotion.

Use this first buy-in to then play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables only on PokerStars. Post back here when you get your first buy-in and start playing these games and we'll continue on from there.

Brilliant features86!

You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

Step Two

Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you.

Please watch the following video and answer the question below.

List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet?

Then study the Cash Game course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus.

1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer.
2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it.
3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks complete and we will award you with your next buy-in.

Best of Luck!

Hi features86

Did you have a read on any of the opponents? They seemed very weak limp-calling preflop with J9s and 46o!? I ask because you raised 8x to 16 cents which is much more than the standard 12 cents (3x the bb plus 1x for each limper). You have a very strong starting hand and we don't want everyone to fold. The best situation is that all but one opponent folds. If you didn't expect your big raise to get called, I would strongly suggest sticking to the standard bet sizing.

Getting three callers is not good for your big pair. However, the flop seems ok for you. You have an overpair, and it's not suited or very connected. C-betting is good here. Since the board doesn't seem dangerous, I would suggest making a standard 50% of the pot c-bet. Notice though that all three of you have relatively small stacks and the pot is already getting big. With your overpair, you are most likely hoping to get all in here. One option would have been to try to check-raise all in.

The turn is pretty horrible with the second J. I think you are priced in here since the pot is so big. Shoving the turn as you did was fine. Normally I would not recommend this, but since you only have 57 cents left and there is already 134 in the pot and most likely both villains will continue. Yoiu are presumably paying your remaining 57 cents to win a pot of 223. This means you only need to win about 1 in 4 times to be profitable.

Both villains played horribly, and V3 got lucky. I hope you made a note on both. These are exacly the types of players that you can make a ton of profit from in the long run.

GL and have fun at the tables!
