Hi Skeldarkday!

Many of the mixed games cannot accomodate 9 players at a table... because there just aren't that many cards in a deck. Many of these will use 8 per table due to it.

That reason for 8 per table I do understand why but the ones I am talking about is a NL holdem tournament with 8 max table. Is there a different to play them if not why have it?

Hi Skeldarkday!

I'd go about playing an 8 player table the same as a 9 player one. I've even seen 11 player tables live.
