I was just curious I have been playing on poker stars for sometime came from another site and I have never seen soo many hands that are back to back same hands in some cases I have the same cards in the same order today I had 3 hands that were KQ offsuite anyone else experiencing that? I also noticed that if you play the first hand strong it has a good chance of winning almost 70% of the time but how do you know? I am not saying that all my hands in sequence are KQ but I have never had back to back pairs so what gives?

Hi pondeeriver1!

I just ran some numbers. If a given hand is XY offsuit, the odds of getting the same hand again the next hand (could be different suits) is 1 in 47. The odds to get a given pair back to back is 1 in 221.
