Button is 18/18 (34 hands). CO only 8 hands.

Is it better to just call here & hope CO calls to go multiway & setmine or is it ok to 4 bet with intention of picking up dead money or calling 5 bet/all-in with no reads?

Is my bet sizing too large?

I dont like flatting in those spots being OOP and not closing the action. You usually give the OR in the CO a free flop and as long as he isn't one of the weakest players at the table you are gunning for I would always prefer to 4bet for value/isolation.

Your sizing is on the bigger side here for 100bb effectively and looks kind of committing to me. I would tend to size my 4bets smaller (sth like $2.80 oop, $2,60 IP) to encourage more action from worse hands.
