is someone up there trying to tell me something as some of you know i have recently took my first step inside a casino due to the rules in the UK it was only to join knowing i had to wait 24hrs between joining and playing i went on a saturday as i wanted to play on the following monday this proved fun as the freezing fog decended on me and at time i was traveling at under 25mph as i couldn't see the cats eyes let alone the road.
since then i have on 4 days decide to go play only for the weather conditions to worsen during the day including last weeks floods which closed the TRUNK road so the minor roads i need to travel on didnt even come into the equation.
again tonight i was going to go thru but had to cancell again due to another major river bursting its banks on route and 2 more threating too. so all my fellow scholars that are eagerly waiting and asking me for a trip report please be patient it will come hopefully before the snow next month.

ironside, everything in life happens for a reason. but dont believe that this is meant to keep you away from the casino. if and when you do make, you have to go in with a positive attitude, otherwise you are setting yourself up for a loss. maybe a higher power is just giving you a quick lesson in patience. take as you may, but remain positive, otherwise, dont sit down in a game until you are going in on a positive note......... good luck ironside,

Nah, don't look for patterns or reasons or divine intervention in a few random occurrences that just happened to have been consecutive. That's where we get astrology, and you sure don't wanna base poker decisions on THAT, do you? Just wait for the weather to clear, and knock 'em dead!

Perhaps if you spoke to rainlord, or foglord, or burstriverbanklord, you could put a good word in for Ironside, tell them to have a day off or something.

Good luck Iron

Hmmmm... I may have to call in a few markers, but what the heck - good idea!

I'll get right on it!
