I thought that I would do something totally out of character and be sociable for a change (is that a definition of mixing it up?).

I have been playing poker on a rival site (hats and balloons might be involved), but never really found the right game at the right time. I've played more poker in the last couple of days on PokerStars than I played in the last year "over there".

I do much better in NL Holdem tournaments (including sit and goes) than cash games. But my PLO cash game is improving.

Whilst I freely admit to taking far too many attempts at passing the Poker Basics course, I have learnt so much from the courses I have completed so far (Basics, Cash Game, and STT) and would recommend them to anyone. Although it would be nice to know which answers were wrong in the "quizlets".

So, my thanks to PokerSchool for existing, and I am off to work my way through the MTT course.
