After 8 games in the PSO Open Skill League by the 5th March, I took a break due to a dose of the flue. Returned to the Open tables on the 17th but even after a couple of decent finishes and a couple of blanks I found I was still way behind and my only option was to get the gamble head on.

Then 3 games in a row I got dealt premium hands very first/second hand of each tourney and got all-in, with AK/AK/KK.

And of course I lost every time.

Quite a record - going out almost first hand in three consecutive tourneys, surely there should be a Big Bang Booby Prize for that feat. I dropped to below 5,000th when my target is 500th.

But I got the better end of the luck today for a cash finish for $0.01 and back up to around 3000th.

Only made 6 VPPs last month so no decent prize for me this month anyway, just a case of whether I can get back to the Premier League.

(I am up to Silver Star this month with over 600VPPs and have just collected my first $10 stellar reward for passing 750 this year - more than I could realistically expect from the OSL 'below 20VPPs' Leaderboard this month).

So thought I should share my rather erratic scores.

Make of them what you will - I have to say it was time efficient - and I might try the gambling approach a bit more despite the drastic loss of points (about 54 over 3 games) that I suffered here.
