Software Problems

I have downloaded the software. When it is all installed and I try to click on to play I get stuck at 50%. I have uninstalled and rebooted my computer and re d/l the software and still having the same problems. Anyone that can assist I would greatly appreciate it.

I have also upgraded the the latest version of Java. Still no help. I don't understand the software worked fine for a year now then all of a sudden I can not get it to run. I checked in the Poker Pages folder and found and error logg file which states:

An unexpected exception has been detected in native code outside the VM.
Unexpected Signal : EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION occurred at PC=0x6D39E443

then is followed with a bunch of java stuff.

Hope this helps to further digagnose the problem.

I have passed that one onto Gavin as it is way out of my league and obviously something specific to your machine.


Getting PokerStars is easy: download and install the PokerStars game software, create your free player account, and validate your email address. To uninstall PokerStars use the Windows uninstaller: click Start > Control Panel and then select Add or Remove programs > Select PokerStars and click Uninstall or Remove.
