The April tournament series for PSO will be Spring Fever. The tournament series will run in the PSO Community Club homegame from Apr 12th-21st and will have similar games for both cash and play money.
The games will be at 12:00, 15:00, 18:00 and 21:00 ET.

All of the games each month will use a 20% payout and points will be awarded to all ITM finishers only, based on the following chart. These points will count BOTH for the monthly and yearly leaderboards that will be in the News forum:

1st – 100 points
2nd – 70 points
3rd – 60 points
4th – 50 points
5th – 45 points
6th – 40 points
7th – 35 points
8th - 30 points
9th – 25 points
Top 1/3 of the remaining ITM finishers – 20 points
Middle 1/3 of the remaining ITM finishers – 15 points
Bottom 1/3 of the remaining ITM finishers – 10 points

Event 10 for both play money and cash will be a special bounty event.
There will be a 25 leaderboard point bounty on EVERY Team PSO member in the games.
Members can also earn an additional 25 points for blogging about knocking out the team member and including the knockout hand in the replayer in their blog post.
Each member is only eligible for one blog bonus for each cash and play money, regardless of how many team members they knockout.
The title of the blog post must be 'I knocked out a PSO Team Member' and must be done either on the 14th or 15th of April. Blogs that are done after 0:00 ET the 16th will not be eligible for the additional 25 points.
Any points earned for knockouts or blog post about the play money games will count toward the play money leaderboard and any knockouts and blog post about the cash cash tourney will count for the cash game leaderboard.

The cash leaderboard prizes for this month will be:

1st - $22.00 ticket
2nd - $11.00 ticket
3rd - $11.00 ticket
4th - $5.50 ticket
5th - $5.50 ticket
6th thru 10th - $2.20 ticket

Prizes will be awarded 4/5 days after the closing event of this Month's series.

*** Please note that to qualify for a prize, a member has to have made a post in the forum and anyone that is removed from the homegame will be ineligible for winning a ticket. ***

I'm looking forward to this series. PSO home games are great fun, so I hope we get some players joining that haven't done so before.
I'm especially excited about the Bounty event, as I've never tried one of those. It's gonna be really weird having a target on my forehead!

I am particularly looking forward to both of the Sunday schedules, as I will mostly stick to the NLHE.

Good mix of games and times, the Bounty game and Main Event are perfect slots for me and should be really good games. Hope we get a lot of participants.

Thanks PSO

Woot! Can't wait for this to start. Planning on playing as many of these as I can again and hopefully own the series. Might be a struggle though as it's lots of Hold'em and not as many different games where I feel I have an edge. Also lots of deep and super deep and I'm a turbo player, looks like I have my work cut out for me. Let the fun begin!

Hi Ed and all,

Just a note on this, the first 2 hours of these games will be covered during the Sunday Special Live Training on their respective days.

The Bounty Games Sunday Special will be hosted by yours truly, and The Main Events Sunday Special will be hosted by ChewMe1!

We hope to see a big turn out for these, and join us in the Live Training classrooms linked here and get in on the fun.

Regards,
Dave

PSO team members, like JWK24, Cannon Lee and me, will have a bounty on us. That means that if you are the player that busts us out of the tournament (by winning the hand when we are all in), you automatically win leaderboard points, even if you don't eventually make it ITM. I presume this will mean that if I open UTG, a whole bunch of players will call, all looking to crack my aces.

Wow, I had no idea that there were leader boards for those games.

One questions, which I'm like 99.9% positive the answer is no, are there any rewards for the play money ladders, other than bragging rights?

If not, well, at least I finished 5 points ahead of TheLangolier in the monthly board after playing the same number of games...

hey Saturnation, I asked this last month, but the answer is no, no rewards other than play money from the games. This is because USA players can't play the real money games so the play money is for them.

Hi EvokeNZ,

Of course. That makes sense. Now if only I had a BR that wasn't on life support.

Might actual play one of the $0.11 NLHE. Couldn't be worse than the $0.10 360 turbos.
