Hello,

You are eligible for the Bankroll Builder promotion, good job!

NB: Bookmark this page so that you'll find it easily in the future

First Step

Watch the following video and pay special attention to the tips on retrieving and saving your hand history from PokerStars. This will be important for the rest of your promotional journey.

After wacthing this please play some PLAY MONEY FULL-RING (9-Handed) tables at PokerStars and using the Hand Replayer post a hand here in this thread that you have questions about.

Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer.

Then when you have that done please have a go at the Poker Basic Course and pass the quiz at the end of the course.

So you have 3 steps to do to begin with and when you have all 3 done we will award you with your first bonus.

1) Watch the 'Getting Started' video
2) Post a 'PLAY MONEY' hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer
3) Pass the Poker Basic course.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 steps completed.

Best of Luck!

Not keen on play chip games on this site been here a few days and alot of agression/stupidity in it playing Q3 offsuit all in out of position.

This is my hand playing AQ out of position, raised preflop x5 the BB as the table was very agrssive so it was a small bet in their case... one called then there was a reraise which got called 4times back round to me giving me a great price to play the flop (or so i believe) 6handed the flop plays out and the rest speaks for itsself

PS - i have already completed the quiz

Hi,

Hand Analysis

It's good that you had reads about most of the villains tendencies at the table! We are sitting on a 40bb stack depth and in a big multi way pot our equity is going to be minimal, but it would be safe to say that we are ahead of most of the villains range in terms of hand strength. After our 5x open and the 3bet call..call..call ensued .. I'd re-raise all in pre-flop to get maximum value for our holdings as all of the villains are sitting with a deep enough to afford the call. If we call off half of our stack and brick the flop and then fold .. our card could maybe peel on either the turn or river (ace or queen).

Post flop when the villain min bets, I'd re-raise all in to get value from a worse range of Qx and various straight or flush combos!

Hope this helps!

Brilliant!

You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

Step Two

Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you.

Please watch the following video and answer the question below.

List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet?

Then study the Cash Game course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus.

1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer.
2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it.
3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks complete and we will award you with your next buy-in.

Best of Luck!

Kind regards,
CannonLee

Hi,

Hand Analysis

Sitting at a short handed table we can feel extremely comfortable about our situation. We have a stack depth of 56bb (big blinds) with the best starting in hold'em .. it ultimately comes down to how can we extract the most value and we'd start with the pre-flop 3bet sizing. Although a raise to $2.50 does induce a weaker range to flat and I presume villain9 can be opening a fairly wide range of holdings on the button such as middling cards 87 98 T7 T8 T9 J8 Q8 K8 J9, suited combos J8s+ Q9s+ K7s+ and maybe AXs+ (but taking card removal into account as we hold two aces, it's unlikely they have an ace)

We need to build the pot for potentially getting stacks in post flop and maximizing value as we only come across AA 1:220 hands, so I'd make my 3bet sizing $3 to at a maximum of $4, villain9 is sitting with a deep 100bb stack and can definitely afford to call a standard to large 3bet sizing!

Post flop, comes a low middling board texture with a flush draw present. I'd follow up with a continuation bet just as you did, but my sizing would be bigger, here is why: this board texture may connect well with the villains range and there is some value we can extract from 87 98 T7 T8 J8 Q8 K8 and flush draw combos so my cbet sizing would be 3/4 pot and if we get raised I'd re-raise to a pot committing size for pure value, betting anything less than this amount and/or flat calling a re-raise on this flop texture leaves vulnerable to getting outdrawn in a relatively small pot. There are many turn/river cards that will hurt our course of action and may scare the villain in to conceding the hand, so we mind as well get value while we can

The turn/river are not the best cards in the deck for our hand and it forces us to take a passive line (please read the above paragraph) of check/calling.

Hope this helps.

Remember this, we are playing versus a range of hands and we bet for 3 reasons:

1.) Bet for value

2.) Bet as a bluff

3.) Bet to collect dead money

So you have 1 task to do to unlock all of your remaining buy-ins all at once:

Study and pass the Cash Game quiz.

Let us know as soon as you have completed this and we will award you with your remaining buy-ins

Best of Luck!

Kind regards,
CannonLee
