Hi Espada_Nu.4!

With AQ, I'm going to make a standard raise to 240 (3BB since I'm first to get into the pot). I then have an opp with a 9.1% 3-bet shove. I now go to pokerstove and see how much equity AQ has against 9.1%... and I see that I'm an underdog with AQ.
Due to the fact that I still have a very playable stack (still very near a top 5 stack) and would be an underdog against the opp's range (and could also easily be dominated), I'm going to pass on AQ here and look for a better situation. I try to avoid having to call shoves with AQ or KQ, as there are too many combinations that a tighter opp will be playing that have me dominated and it also takes a much better hand to call a shove than it does to shove with.
Another factor to consider here is that if I lose the hand (which I'm a favorite to lose if I call), then I'm absolutely crippled. This is another reason to pass on it and look for a better spot.

Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.
