There's a weird problem with this replay. None of the chips are appearing, so I can't see the size of bets or what's in the pot. Can you try reposting it?

Played it fine. You should be full stacked though in a cash game (100bb) so you can get max value from premium hands.

You got your money in as an 80% favorite, don't be results orientated and be happy you made the right decision.

I like the bet OTF and the bet OTT; against a limp/call range of { KTs+, QTs+, JTs, J8s, T8s, 86s, KTo+, QTo+, J9o+, T8o, 86o }, we have 65% equity and I like betting that for value. However if we were 100bb deep I would have considered folding the turn raise vs unknown. But you have already invested 73% of your stack and we are never folding now.

You could also check back turn to get paid off from a Q on the river or induce a thin bet from villain, since the K could be a scare card to our opponent or could have potentially improved him to 2pair or straight, but this depends on our opponent type and whether he is capable of value betting thin or bluffing rivers.

b/f turn (100bb effective) should be our default line against a fish since there are worse hands that can call in his range, specifically drawing hands and possibly hands that have also picked up a FD OTT.

GL!

Birdayy and geo have nailed this.

I really hate it when I have AA and there's a K and a Q on the board, as I'm often running into top 2 or even a straight. I'd sometimes just check the scary king on the turn for pot-control and to keep worse hands in the pot, but mostly at 2NL, I'm just going bet-bet-shove with an overpair, because villains will call with worse. If you were deep-stacked, then bet-folding the turn would be standard, but here you're completely pot-committed, so it's easy to call all in to the turn raise.

As birdayy put it, you got your money in good. Villain overvalued his one pair hand and managed to suck out. Unlucky.

Cheers,
Arty
