Its not that this happens every time you get 2 pair (*unless you just started playing poker and have less than 5k hands in which case it is possible )

Its that when this does happen it is very frustrating and so we remember it more often.

You could start a trial and make a check mark of how often you get two pair and then how often you get rivered.

It would also depend on what the villian was holding as to how bad a beat this is.

For example did they have a flush draw + an open ended straight draw or did they hit a gutshot.

One of the good things about having tracking software is that I can look back and check how I played my hands. And yes I too have bad beats and give out bad beats and play poorly and get unlucky.

One of the common things people like to say about the Stars software is they never win with AA. So far this year in cash games I have been dealt AA 192 times, I have won 178 times (92.71%) with a win rate of 815 bb/100 hands, and I cannot recall a single one of those wins but and can tell you this month i recall 3 of the loses....its human nature.

Grade if you are willing to learn perhaps you should train yourself to remember all the expected wins aswell as the losses - same goes for everyone .

Why remember either?

Analyze the hands for any mistakes made, process THAT information, and move along.

To rephrase Moxie's suggestion:

Forget hand results. Only decisions matter!
