Hi, no reads on the villain since it's the first time I've played with him.
Can someone help me with the hand reading here ? I couldn't put him on a hand here since slowplayed 44 or 6 didn't make sense. But I felt I was beat especially when the A hits the River.

Hi fp,

Re the hand reading, I agree flopped sets don't make sense, I'd expect him to check-raise us or get aggressive earlier in the hand, either flop or turn. C/C, C/C, Bet generally indicates a hand that on the flop and turn A) is drawing or B) has showdown value in villains eyes, and that improves on the river. The hands that make sense in this vein are AQ, AT, and TcXc combos. Again with reads it's had to get a picture. For example, If I were up against a villain with a high fold to 3b% I would probably call the river bet, as I wouldn't expect him to defend his raise with Tx or even AT, so he's really only repping AQ. Against a loose opener/defender, they can have all this stuff as well as KJ and some other back door clubs.
