This June we’ll be reaching the landmark of 100,000,000,000 hands dealt, and we’re celebrating like never before. Special promotions start early June with our richest-ever ring game promotion - a special edition of the Road to 100 Billion! We’re expecting to award $2,000,000 in cash, including a Million Dollar Hand for the 100 billion Mega Milestone.

The celebrations won’t just be happening at the ring games tables though. New to the Road to 100 Billion, there will be another $3,000,000 in prizes awarded in special promotions that cover a huge range of games. We can’t tell you all the details now, but watch this space…

Here is a link to the PokerStars page about this promotion that includes a video about it.

I've always enjoyed this promo. Of course I've never been lucky(?) enough to hit a milestone hand but gr8 to hear it's more than just ring game action.

I hope everyone goes a lil out of their way to be involved with this.

Do we really have to have that annoying Lobby countdown clock running until then? It is very distracting..

Hi,

The PokerStars game client just recently had an update, you should be able to see the countdown to 100 Billion counter. If not, please contact support@pokerstars.com and they will be able to assist you further.

Kind regards,
CannonLee

Hi,

Sorry that the countdown timer is distracting you. Unfortunately there is no available option to disable that feature. Alternatively, you can minimize the main lobby while playing that way it's out of sight.

Kind regards,
CannonLee

Hand number 99,700,000,000 is about to be dealt on a 5NL 6-max table. Everyone's getting at least 20 buy-ins for sitting there, including one player I have colour-coded as a 2NL reg.

EDIT: Wow! 5 players shove all in and the big blind wakes up with aces... and holds! Gotta feel sorry for the guy with 72. He was dominated by Q7.

Once all prizes for the Mega Milestone have been calculated, the remainder of the Million Dollar Hand prize money will be split across all other players seated at the same game, betting structure and stake when the hand was dealt (for example: $0.10/$0.25, No Limit Hold’em). It’s called the Stake Share, and it’s your best ever chance of being part of milestone hand history!

I thought I would load up a load of 2NL tables tomorrow for hand 100billion and keep my fingers crossed, but now I think about stake share it makes sense to load up every different NLH FR stake variant until pretty much all of my BR is in play ... except I'm not even joking, now to try and get away from work tomorrow afternoon so I don't miss it!!

In case anyone wondered whether different variants count as same stake:

Thank you for contacting PokerStars.

When determining if a table is considered eligible for a portion of the Stake Share, please keep in mind that only three things matter for this:

The stakes: (ie: 5/10)
The game type: (ie: Hold'em)
The limits: (ie: No Limit)

Anything else is irrelevant, so if the table is a CAP table versus non-CAP, or if it's 6-max versus Full Ring, that does not affect its eligibility for a cut of the Stake Share.

Also, in regards to the stakes, currency does not matter either so $5/$10 is considered to be the same as €5/€10.

More details about the Stake Share, and other Milestone Hand prize information, can be found here:

http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/prom...tone-examples/

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to write back, and thank you for choosing PokerStars.

Regards,

Tyler
