Hi Shichi-77!

With AK on the button and a standard raise in front of me, I'm going to flat here in a league game (I could 3-bet shove in a cash tourney here, but not in a league game).

I flop top pair on a board with a flush and straight draws. The opp that raised preflop now bets 360. With only top pair and not knowing for sure that I will be ahead after all 5 cards are on the board, I will flat this bet and re-evaluate on the turn.

I do NOT want to be all-in unless I'm sure that I will have the best hand after the entire board runs out. League games are not like cash tourneys where I look at when I'm pot-committed. In league games, the one and only time I'm pot-committed is if I'm blinded in. I need to last as long as possible in order to obtain more and more league points for the monthly standings and it is extremely important to not take chances the later into the month it is.

I'm flatting the flop and if a diamond or broadway hits and the opp shoves on the turn... I need to muck to last longer in the tourney since I could easily not have the best hand.

Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.
