A bad weekend ''for a change'', of beat.


Up against a small baller, check trap re-raise in mind.


Was the check trap a good idea?

hi holdem,

I think your play here is fine. I don't mind the call preflop, although it sets us up to be squeeze shoved by the BB and then we'll have to fold.

We flop the nuts, I like letting him c-bet, then raising smallish. He'll be tempted to continue with really low equity hands, as he did here, shoving when destroyed. nh, well played imo.
