PokerStars are about to reach the end of the Road to 100 Billion, and to celebrate you can take a share of up to $2,000,000 in cash prizes in their biggest-ever Milestone Hand promotion!

The Mega Milestone will be the never-before-seen Million Dollar Hand. The winner of hand 100BN will receive at least $100K, with those dealt in receiving a minimum of $10,000. In addition, they will receive a prize of $2,000 per VPP earned at the table in their last 50 hands!

Once all prizes for the Mega Milestone have been calculated, the remainder of the Million Dollar Hand prize money will be split across all other players seated at the same game, betting structure and stake when the hand was dealt (for example: $0.10/$0.25, No Limit Hold'em). It's called the Stake Share, and it's your best ever chance of being part of milestone hand history!

There will also be 300 regular milestone hands that are set to award a further $1,000,000 in prize money to ring game players. The prizes will be paid out every millionth hand from hand #99,700,000,000 onwards. For an explanation of the prize money on offer, visit the Examples page.

Here are some tips on how to increase your prize money during the Milestone Hands promotion:

1. Play on more tables - If you are able to play on more than one table at a time, you will increase your chances of being dealt into a milestone hand.

2. Play longer sessions - The size of the prizes depends on the number of VIP Player Points (VPPs) you have earned while sitting at the table. Try to take a seat at a table well in advance of the next milestone hand to increase the amount of your potential prize.

3. Loosen up - you earn VPPs every time you contribute to a raked pot. The more pots you play in, the more VPPs you will earn. Learn more about earning VPPs on our VIP Club pages.

4. Increase your chances of winning a Stake Share, try playing at a few different games or stakes in the run up to the Mega Milestone.

Real money ring games are also available on the PokerStars Mobile poker app, which means you have the chance to be dealt into a milestone hand wherever you are! Check the Mobile app page to find out how to download now.

Please Note: Hands dealt on Zoom tables are not eligible for milestone hand prizes. To win a prize, you must be playing on one of our regular ring game tables. Measures have been taken to prevent the practice of speed-folding, i.e. folding all hands in an attempt to unfairly improve the chances of being dealt into a Milestone Hand. Tables that demonstrate little or no legitimate poker being played will be excluded from Milestone Hand prizes.

Contact support@pokerstars.com if you have any questions about the Million Dollar Hand or any other 100 Billion Hands Celebration promotion - where a total of $5,000,000 will be awarded across all events.

Best of Luck!

I'm doing the same I'mJigJig

I'll just be multitabling NLHE though running one table of 100NL, 50NL, 25NL, 16NL, 10NL, 5NL and as many 2NL tables as the system will allow me. GL!

Yep sounds like my plan, min buy in at one table of 16-200NL norm stack at the rest and then loadsa 2NL for the last little while ... Now I begin to think about it when it gets close and I max out tables, no point putting in a full stack even at 2NL
GL all! Would be sweet to see a PSOer at the big hand

I'm able to get a table at fixed limit but sometimes I have to start tables myself.

Any idea what time the jackpot is due so I can plan on getting my tables open?

Brilliant slow roll watching that, well done Pokerstars. Close to 500,000 people playing when the hand was won.

That was insane.

Also, high five to anyone who's in on the stake share.

Pretty cool that 3 of the 6 winners are PSO members: MoodyMiss, doc836 and GiassGagguas. (Although they've never posted on the forum, but still.)

Edit: And damn it all, I missed the 100bn hand by 606 hands on one table and 624 on another. Does that qualify as a bad beat?

I only dropped $1 in my 600 hands in the run up to the mega-milestone, including a bunch of hands at 10NL, which is higher than I usually play. I think I'm one of the 9400 players that are getting about $85 for being on a 5NL table at the right time. This could mean a lot of players now have the bankroll to move up stakes.

Played for about 1 hour
About 1,800 hands

2 x 0.02 (6max and FR)
4 x 0.05 (6max and FR)
4 x 0.10 (6max and FR)
4 x 0.16 (6max and FR)
2 x 0.25 (6max and FR)

Made a profit of $42.36 plus this:

Congratulations Sandtrap777!

As you may be aware, we have recently dealt the 100 Billionth hand at PokerStars.

As you were playing at the same game and stakes as the table where the 100 Billionth Mega Milestone hand was dealt, you have won a share of $830,790.34.

Your share was calculated based on the number of VPPs you earned in the previous 49 hands at each table you were playing of 0.02/0.05 NL Hold'em.

The total number of VPPs you earned in this matter was 7.67 which brings your share of this prize to $237.91. It is already in your account available for use.

Thank you for participating in this truly special event.

Woohoo

That's good to know, do you know if I had to have played all of the last 49 hands before the milestone at each 5NL table I was at, I can remember timing out on a couple of hands when had too many tables up and trying to make Omaha and FLH decisions hope I didn't end up sitting out at them.
