a 1.50$ 6-max turbo no limit game:

Looking at the stacksizes and blinds, is this correctly played? Depending on stats of several villians, what would change? Thanks a lot!

shortstack is a 11/8/2.0 (59 hands.. only this game I think). I guess the other stats matter less.

Hey wilcogold

Being dealt AJ with just an 8 big blind stack is a fantastic situation for us and we should be shoving all in regardless of what the other players stats are.

Because we are so short, we are expected to be shoving a lot of hands 'around 25 - 30%', most villians know this so they will call us with a range much wider than AJ.
Most of the time we are called in this spot we are likely to be ahead which makes this a very good profitable spot for us to shove all in regardless of anyone's hud stats.

Just because we ran into pocket jacks it doesn't mean we played the hand incorrectly, the fact that we ran into such a strong pair is very unfortunate. We musn't be results orientated.

Cheers, Chris.
