hi
Just a cooler or bad play ? I mean that flush draw closed on the turn and he called with something on the flop. but if I check he would bet on the river with all he's hands.
Sorry, this hand was deleted by its owner

Hi Shichi-77!

When compared to the KK hand, this one is totally different.

With AA and a min-raise in front of me, I'm going to make a standard 3-bet to between 3X the previous bet and a pot-sized raise. Especially if the blinds are stationy, I'm going to opt for the higher end of this range and raise to 750.

The flop brings a flush draw and the opp checks to me. I'm going to make my standard 1/2 pot value bet here (855 chips).

The turn here is a HUGE problem. It not only completes the flush draw, but also puts a pair on the board. When the opp checks to me, since they called twice now, I'm going to check behind for pot control... as I can also very easily be beat here too. I do NOT want to shove here, as there are too many hands that are in the opp's range that have me beat.

If I do not improve on the river and the opp bets into me, into the muck my cards go. In a league game, it's not worth the chance.

John (JWK24)

P.S. If this were a cash tourney, I'm shoving preflop.
