Hello,

You are eligible for the Bankroll Builder promotion, good job!

NB: Bookmark this page so that you'll find it easily in the future

First Step

Watch the following video and pay special attention to the tips on retrieving and saving your hand history from PokerStars. This will be important for the rest of your promotional journey.

After wacthing this please play some PLAY MONEY FULL-RING (9-Handed) tables at PokerStars and using the Hand Replayer post a hand here in this thread that you have questions about.

Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer.

Then when you have that done please have a go at the Poker Basic Course and pass the quiz at the end of the course.

So you have 3 steps to do to begin with and when you have all 3 done we will award you with your first bonus.

1) Watch the 'Getting Started' video
2) Post a 'PLAY MONEY' hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer
3) Pass the Poker Basic course.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 steps completed.

Best of Luck!

Was this a good played hand. In this situation i am never sure what is a good way to play.
Should i even play this after preflop raise, and after the flop should i be more aggressive?
Thank you.

Hi,

Hand Analysis

We are sitting on a 60bb stack depth in the small blind, which means that we'll be at positional disadvantage post flop with a speculative hand or rather marginal in a multi-way pot. I'd prefer just folding this hand pre-flop and save bets to wait for a value hand in better position.

Post flop, I'd make my bet sizing half pot 1/2 pot to get value from a flush draw and Ax Kx floats (high card) on the flop and turn and fold to a raise as there is a good chance that we are either out kicked or dominated by a slow played hand. Betting anything less than this on each street prices in all of the villains draws and we will be missing a great deal of value as players tend to get really attached to drawing hands.

Hope this helps.

Good luck and good decisions,
CannonLee

Brilliant!

You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

Step Two

Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you.

Please watch the following video and answer the question below.

List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet?

Then study the Cash Game course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus.

1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer.
2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it.
3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks complete and we will award you with your next buy-in.

Best of Luck!

1) Was i bluffed in this hand ?

2) List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet?
- to put pressure on other players
- to build pot / gain value with very strong hands
- to protect from draws

3) Passed the cash game quiz.

Hi,
Hand Analysis

I like the raise size pre-flop on our stack depth of about 50bb. We will ahve positional advantage post flop and a strong holding if we make our hand.

Did you have any specific reads on this villain? This flop is kind of dry and doesn't hit either of our 3bet hand range, I'd expect this villains range to be weighted with several worse Ax combos AQ AJ AT A9 A8 A6 etc.. and possibly some heart combos KQs KJs KTs K9s, QJs QTs Q9s. The main thing we need to take into consideration is the villains tendencies in previously played hands and their showdown hand ranges. They could be trying to leverage us with this sizing as it commits us and they could be semi bluffing to a flush draw or have a pocket pair..I do not mind a fold here in this spot to pick a better value spot!

Hope this helps.

Good luck and good decisions,
CannonLee

Your second Bankroll Builder bonus is on it's way to you, great job so far.

Watch this video that will help you on the cash game tables

There are three ways in which you can earn your next bonus.

2) If you lose your 2nd bonus at the tables please post the hands where you lost the money with here in this thread. As soon as you post the losing hands we will advise on the next step.
3) If you make a first deposit at PokerStars you will automatically be awarded your remaining bonuses from the Bankroll Builder promotion.

Best of luck to you at the tables and we are here to help you should you have any questions.

Hi,

Hand Analysis

As played we would need to have specific reads on this villain and their showdown ranges to be lead betting this flop, although there are some flush and inside straight draws present to get value from on this flop texture> More times than not all of the villains will miss this board with their holdings, the board is paired so taking cared removal into account we can now discount 9x as part of their range.

I do like betting this flop, but only if you had specific reads. Turn seemed fairly standard from a bet sizing standpoint. There are definitely some Ax, Kx and flush combos in their range that could have floated us, so I'd make my bet sizing about half pot for pure value on the river, over betting the pot may fold out to many worse hands! No worries, the villain could have easily had the above mentioned ranges. Very few hands have us beat on this river(in future situations as well), we have to get it all in!

Hope this helps.

Good luck and good decisions,
CannonLee

It may take up to 48hrs for the VPPs to reflect on our end, when you have attained the required amount of 10VPPs with the second bonus, your third bonus should automatically be released.

The second bonus was lost at the tables, so no worries about the VPPs for now.

Your third Bankroll Builder bonus is on it's way to you, great job so far.
