Hello its my first "forum" blog here and I will use this to keep updates on the games I play.

My fav game is NL turbo/hyper turbo tournaments and I'm currently switching to Zoom cash games and actually winning very often. In a span of just 7 minutes or so I won $11 which is pretty cool compared to going weeks with finishing out of the money turbos.

So currently zoom cash games will be my main focus while I wait for the Micromillions next month to take a stab at the big prize pools.

Goals

1.) Reach $10000 by the years end (copying Acoimbra challenge)you can find my blog here http://www.pokerschoolonline.com/blogs/post/?id=48191
2.) Reach Goldstar
3.) Never go broke
4.) Never tilt and quit forever

I started off with the BR i got from a friend when I felt like quitting went pretty low with it but got Chromestar and finished 5th in the Chromestar VIP freeroll for a cool $175 of free money so that's where I will continue this challenge.

Update: Withdrawed funds and starting with a $3 bankroll I have roughly 5 1/1 months to make $10000 with $3

BR: $13

Inspiried to just play cash games by Xflixx( But I am terrible at 6max so only 9max (sorry)

New Goals:

Have a profitable Bankroll - Aiming still for $10k
Reach Gold star at some point
Never tilt
Do well in major events when I feel like playing tournaments(Micromillions)
Most importantly to just have fun! (Just please mr bankroll no go to $0 :P )

This was earlier in the zoom cash game I really don't know what I am doing. I start off with min cash of $2.50 rather than max of $5 which has its pros and cons. Pros being if you get it allin you're getting max value from your buyin if your oppenent has a big stack. Cons are if you lose your entire $5 buyin you're worst off than just playing it safe with a 2.50 min buyin. Still would like to know which is best I have busted just twice so far.

Here is an example of a hand that may or may not get me in trouble in the future. If he was aggressive on the turn and bet say $0.20 I would have folded. But I got a free card and sucked out

And here is why I love poker when my lovely AA holds up to all these bets and I take down the money

Hi Killeraxa89!

With 2 opps in the pot, need to raise by 2/3 pot on flop and turn, instead of calling. Calling prices them in to draw to beat you.

Well I fiured he had AK when the flop came so slow played it. He wouldn't have folded to a 2/3 raise or shove anyway, I just got unlucky on the river

Right here on the flop I didn't know what to do with this board texture flush/straight draw possibility or even a set, but I was ready to gameble so just shoved to take down the pot, and if he called was hoping he was on a draw

I'm stuck at around $190 mostly due to my 4 tabling LAG play I'll basically call a 3x raise maximum to see a flop holding a suited Ace perfect example was in this hand below unfortunately we didn't hit our heart but got lucky still

I'm still playing at the minimum buyin wondering if its more profitable to start at $5 rather than $2.50 (playing it safe cause of how I play)

Hey i would say its more profitable playing deep but if i were you i would keep to minimum buy in because i think the A2s hand and the j9 hand would lose money in the long run.

You did gamble abit with some of those hands imo lloks high variance to me i like low variance i myself need to get all in abit more with made hands but i think you might just be getting it all in abit to much.

Yeah for now until I get a bigger BR I will stick with this strategy

Right now I am grinding while trying to maintain a positive ROI in route to a Silverstar VIP I need like 190 more so aiming for that before the end of this month to take advantage of the Silverstar freerolls ect.

I'm spending the day playing hyper turbo $1.50 SnG and had a good laugh and a BR over $200 now thanks to suck outs like these!!

What a bad beat day I had, AA didn't hold up like 3x allin preflop hopefully I can run good tomorrow as I near silverstar for the first time

I even got a boom hand for 100bb on the 5NL. I read the rules that you must win post flop so I just checked it down all the way, was a little on tilt then cause like 10 hands earlier my AA got cracked on the river to 88

Took a shot at playing max buyin and it paid off will keep the other 3 at 2.50 since I like to play so many hands but will be abit tight on the 5 buyin(or not)

Rough patch has started at the end of yesterday. I will just take a little break from playing all day maybe just the freeroll and weekend VIP tournaments.

Soon the Micromillions will be here and I will be definitely taking a shot at atleast 10 tournaments in that series

So I didn't bother with this challenge for about 3 weeks. Withdrew most of my funds after some badbeats that were absolute rubbish I did make over $100 profit which I don't want to tilt and lose all over again like I did in the past. So I will change things up again and actually start this challenge all over again BUT with $3

Getting $10k is a long shot but thats what I still hope to somehow achieve by the years end

Micromillions

MY Bankroll even if I were to use it for the number of events I want to play would very much cripple me. So instead of using the cash i withdrew or using the aid of staking on these forums I seeked the help of my family members and have a total of $128 just for this event. This will allow me to play without the stress of losing everything I played many hours for. And yes if I win say $5000 in the micromillions each family member who helped gets a piece of the prize pool. I will list events I WILL play and maybe add others if I have the time.
